It is important to note that while using Ghostalker Lite, it is advised to avoid holding, shaking, or tapping your device. The app is designed to detect the slightest movements, vibrations, as well as changes in electromagnetic fields, light, and proximity.

With an extensive database of over a thousand frequently used words, Ghostalker Lite effectively analyzes sensor data from your device. This includes data from sensors such as vibration, rotation, GPS, gyroscope, light, magnetic fields, and proximity. Rather than randomly selecting words like other similar applications, it employs the actual raw sensor data to determine the words to display and speak.

Paranormal investigators recommend leaving the app running for extended periods as spirits might learn what energy triggers specific words.

If the app starts constantly triggering words, it could be due to interference from nearby sources. In such cases, try relocating your device or use the 'Calibrate' button to minimize background variance (although this may result in decreased sensitivity).

Occasionally, interference or faulty sensors can cause individual sensors to trigger continuously. Starting from version 0.2, you have the ability to enable or disable individual sensors to address these issues.

The Lite version of Ghostalker displays the last 10 spoken words but does not log them. Additionally, it lacks the log viewer and customization option for creating a custom dictionary of words. To access these extra features, consider downloading the full "Ghostalker" app.

It is important to note that this app does not generate complete sentences. Instead, it leaves interpretation up to you. While high-end phones and tablets usually possess a greater number of sensors, the app is designed to work with any available hardware. Sensitivity of the sensors may also vary across different devices.
